Showcasing unified brand innovation through social media
In 2022, BMC Software underwent a major brand re-positioning effort, intentionally creating one company, one brand, and one voice that works across all mediums—developing a unified story and POV to reach and win new logos, while inspiring existing customers to stay with them. To support and extend this new positioning and reset market perception, BMC needed a refreshed social strategy and ongoing social creative.
To begin, JMS conducted an extensive audit of BMC and competitor social channels, identifying opportunities for content optimization and ways to own share of voice across social.
JMS then put the playbook in motion with a responsive, proactive social newsroom, regularly concepting and producing a wide range of content to showcase the breadth, innovation, and expertise of the evolving brand. Ongoing optimization was aided by monthly reporting and recommendations. Content included video cutdowns, animations, audiograms, carousels, illustrations, and more.
JMS also developed a social media toolkit and templates to help guide internal content production and employee advocacy efforts on social channels.
